Triumph Motorcycles has reignited one of the most iconic names in motorcycling with the launch of the new Thruxton 400 in India, ahead of a global roll-out later this year. The latest addition to Triumph’s acclaimed Modern Classic line-up combines authentic café racer styling with a sharper, sportier riding experience.
The Thruxton 400 draws its power from an uprated TR-Series 398cc liquid-cooled engine, producing 42PS for class-leading top-end performance. Retaining the unmistakable silhouette of the original Thruxton, it features clip-on handlebars, a sculpted fuel tank, and a colour-coded bullet seat cowl, capturing the essence of 1960s café racer culture while delivering modern performance.
A dedicated chassis with revised suspension geometry ensures a more engaged ride, complemented by modern rider aids such as switchable traction control, torque-assist clutch, and ride-by-wire throttle. With Triumph’s signature build quality, premium finishes, and class-leading service intervals, the Thruxton 400 offers an unmatched value proposition at ₹2,74,137/- (ex-showroom).
