Hyundai Adds SX+ Variant to the VERNA Lineup and Rolls Out Wireless Connectivity Across 7 Models
Hyundai’s “Futuristic. Ferocious” VERNA just got a new flavor—say hello to the SX+ variant, now available with both a 6-speed manual and the popular iVT automatic. This new trim slots in nicely for buyers who want a balance of performance, features, and price.

But that’s not all—Hyundai is also making life a lot more wireless. The carmaker has introduced a Wired to Wireless Adapter that brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support to seven of its models: Grand i10 NIOS, EXTER, VERNA, AURA, VENUE, VENUE N Line, and ALCAZAR. Finally, no more fumbling with cables every time you jump in the car.
What’s New in the VERNA SX+?
The VERNA SX+ builds on the sedan’s solid foundation of tech and design. It keeps things premium with:
-
Bose 8-speaker premium sound system
-
Leather seats
-
Front ventilated and heated seats
-
Front parking sensors
-
LED headlamps
…and more features that were previously reserved for higher trims.

The pricing’s not too bad either:
-
SX+ MT – ₹13,79,300
-
SX+ iVT – ₹15,04,300 (Ex-showroom)
Wireless Life, Hyundai Style
Hyundai’s new Wired to Wireless Adapter plugs into your infotainment system and instantly upgrades it to support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It’s a small gadget with big convenience—perfect for anyone who hates dealing with cables but loves staying connected on the go.
According to Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India, these updates are part of the brand’s bigger vision to make high-end features more accessible. And honestly, with the new SX+ and wireless adapter rollout, they’re walking the talk.
Bottom line: More choice for VERNA buyers and smarter tech for everyone else. We’ll take it.
