Classic Legends celebrated World Motorcycle Day with one of its largest community rides yet, bringing together more than 2,000 riders from the Jawa, Yezdi and BSA communities across India. The celebration also witnessed the launch of the Guardian Bell Initiative, aimed at promoting rider camaraderie, safety and the enduring traditions of motorcycling.
Observed globally on June 21, World Motorcycle Day celebrates the freedom, adventure and sense of belonging that define life on two wheels. This year, Classic Legends united riders from 19 states and 59 cities, reinforcing the growing strength of its enthusiast community and the shared passion that connects motorcyclists across generations.
Guardian Bell Initiative Promotes Rider Brotherhood
As part of the celebrations, Classic Legends introduced the Guardian Bell Initiative, inspired by a long-standing motorcycling tradition followed by riders across the world.
A Guardian Bell is traditionally gifted by a fellow rider, friend or loved one as a symbol of protection, good luck and companionship on every journey. Through the initiative, riders were encouraged to exchange Guardian Bells, strengthening the culture of looking out for one another while fostering deeper connections within the riding community.
Guardian Bells were also distributed during the nationwide rides, allowing participants to become part of a tradition that celebrates not just motorcycles, but the friendships and shared experiences built on the road.
Celebrating More Than Just Motorcycles
Speaking on the occasion, Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Classic Legends, highlighted that the company’s focus extends beyond motorcycles to building a strong riding culture.
“Motorcycling has always been about more than machines. It is about people, shared experiences and the bonds that are formed on the road. World Motorcycle Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate that spirit, and through the Guardian Bell initiative, we hope to encourage riders to look out for one another and strengthen the sense of community that makes motorcycling so special.”
Strengthening the Nomads Community
The nationwide celebration reflects Classic Legends’ continued efforts to nurture its growing Nomads riding community through meaningful experiences that extend beyond ownership.
By bringing together riders from the Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA families, the company continues to reinforce the spirit of exploration, friendship and responsible motorcycling, while encouraging enthusiasts to build lasting connections both on and off the road.
