Ultraviolette Automotive has unveiled the X-47 Crossover, the world’s first commercially launched motorcycle equipped with an integrated radar and camera system, establishing a new benchmark in electric mobility and rider safety. Priced at an introductory ₹2.49 lakh, the X-47 blends futuristic technology, performance, and versatility, carving out a new “crossover” category in India’s motorcycling landscape.

At the heart of the innovation is UV HyperSense, a proprietary radar intelligence system featuring 77 GHz long-range radar technology integrated with Ultraviolette’s Vehicle Control Unit. This enables blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assist, overtake alerts, and rear-collision warnings, making the X-47 the safest motorcycle in its class.

Powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack, the X-47 delivers 40.2 hp (30 kW), 610 Nm at the rear wheel, and accelerates from 0–60 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, with a top speed of 145 km/h. It also boasts an IDC range of 323 km, making it practical for both city commutes and long-distance rides.

Other standout features include:
-
World’s most power-dense air-cooled onboard charger, developed in-house, supporting Type 2 AC car charging.
-
Parallel Boost Charging, halving charging times by combining onboard and external chargers.
-
Advanced braking system with 10th Gen Bosch switchable dual-channel ABS, 3-level traction control, and Brembo disc brakes.
-
Adjustable suspension with 41 mm inverted front forks and rear mono-shock.
-
Integrated dashcam system with dual HDR cameras, secondary 5-inch touchscreen, and intelligent recording features.
-
Industry-first radial all-terrain tyres and 200 mm ground clearance for true crossover ability.
The X-47 also offers pannier options, a smart connectivity suite branded as VIOLETTE A.I., and multiple ride modes (Glide, Combat, and Ballistic).

Bookings are now open for ₹999 on Ultraviolette’s website, with deliveries set to begin in October 2025 across India. Global rollouts are expected in 2026.
With the launch of the X-47, Ultraviolette has reinforced its position as a frontrunner in next-generation EV technology, combining aviation-inspired design, disruptive engineering, and world-first innovations to shape the future of motorcycling.
