TVS Motor Company has achieved its highest-ever monthly sales in August 2025, crossing the five-lakh milestone with 509,536 units sold, a robust 30% growth over 391,588 units in August 2024.
Two-Wheelers Lead the Surge
The company’s two-wheeler sales touched 490,788 units, marking a 30% YoY growth. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 28% to 368,862 units, compared to 289,073 units in the same month last year.

Scooters: 222,296 units (36% growth, up from 163,629)
Electric Vehicles
TVS registered 25,138 EV sales in August 2025, slightly up from 24,779 units last year. The company highlighted that magnet availability continues to be a challenge in the short to medium term.
International Business
Exports grew strongly, with total overseas sales up 35% at 135,367 units, compared to 99,976 units in August 2024. Two-wheeler exports jumped 36% to 121,926 units.
Three-Wheelers
The segment posted an impressive 47% growth, with sales rising to 18,748 units, compared to 12,747 units in August 2024.
