Tata Motors has officially launched the all-new Tata Sierra.ev in India, marking the return of one of the country’s most iconic nameplates in an all-electric avatar. Priced from ₹18.79 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom), the Sierra.ev combines retro-inspired styling with cutting-edge EV technology, premium comfort, and advanced safety features. Bookings are now open, while deliveries will commence from July 15, 2026.
The launch comes at a time when electric mobility is rapidly entering the mainstream in India, with Tata Motors positioning the Sierra.ev as a premium electric SUV designed for customers seeking style, performance, technology, and practicality in one package.

Retaining the unmistakable character of the original Sierra while embracing a thoroughly modern design, the Sierra.ev features a spacious cabin, signature wraparound glasshouse, and a futuristic SUV stance. It is available in seven exterior colours, including the exclusive Nainital Nocturne and the newly introduced Rishikesh Rapids.
500+ km Real-World Range and Fast Charging
Built on Tata’s latest Acti.ev+ dedicated EV architecture, the Sierra.ev is powered by a 75 kWh battery pack delivering a claimed 500+ km C75 real-world driving range.
The SUV also supports ultra-fast DC charging, allowing approximately 263 km of range in just 15 minutes, while charging from 20 to 80 percent takes around 26 minutes.
