Raptee.HV Launches India’s First High-Voltage Electric Motorcycle T 30 compatible with Car charging stations

Chennai-based EV startup Raptee.HV has launched India’s first high-voltage electric motorcycle, utilizing advanced technology commonly seen in electric cars worldwide. This innovation allows the motorcycle to deliver performance comparable to 250-300cc ICE (internal combustion engine) counterparts while generating significantly less heat.

Highlights:

  • India’s First Indigenously developed High Voltage Electric Motorcycle, with Electric car technology.
  • India’s First Electric Two-wheeler compatible with car charging stations.
  • Raptee.HV delivers performance equivalent to the 250-300 cc ICE vehicles.
  • Raptee.HV Motorcycles are priced at Rs.2.39 Lakhs on par with the 250- 300 cc ICE vehicles.

The high-voltage technology enables Raptee.HV motorcycles are the first in India to adopt universal charging standards used by electric cars. Equipped with an onboard charger, the motorcycle is compatible with over 13,500 CCS2 car charging stations across the country, a number expected to double within the next year.

Priced competitively at ₹2.39 lakhs, on par with 250-300cc ICE motorcycles, the Raptee.HV offers a significant advantage in terms of cost of ownership, starting from day one, alongside its eco-friendly benefits.

The motorcycle boasts an IDC-estimated range of 200 km and a real-world range of over 150 km on a single charge, with a 0-60 km/h acceleration in under 3.5 seconds. It comes with an IP67-rated battery pack, meets all regulatory safety standards, and offers a warranty comparable to electric cars—8 years or 80,000 kilometers.

Raptee.HV motorcycles feature advanced software for a superior riding experience, with in-house developed electronics powering the high-voltage technology and a custom-built operating system based on an automotive-grade Linux platform for intuitive user interaction. The bike is available in four striking colors—Horizon Red, Arctic White, Mercury Grey, and Eclipse Black.

Starting deliveries in Chennai and Bangalore in January, Raptee.HV plans to expand to other cities based on the demand for mid-premium motorcycles and electric mobility adoption. Integrated into their Chennai factory, their “Tech Store.HV” experience center will provide an immersive experience, including factory tours.

Raptee.HV recently closed its pre-Series A fundraising round, led by Bluehill Capital and Artha99 Ventures, and is finalizing its Series A round to support production scale-up, dealership expansion, and broader market entry.
