Gurugram, August 27, 2025: Oben Electric, India’s R&D-led electric motorcycle startup, is fast-tracking its retail footprint in the north, with plans to cross 20 showrooms in Delhi-NCR by FY26. The expansion comes on the back of strong customer demand for the recently launched Oben Rorr EZ Sigma, which has quickly gained traction among urban commuters.
Currently, Oben operates seven showrooms in Delhi-NCR and 18 across five states in North India, including Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. With the region already contributing the largest share of the brand’s overall sales, Oben aims to establish 70+ outlets in North India this fiscal, covering all major cities. Nationally, the brand has a presence of 50 showrooms and is targeting 150+ showrooms and service centres by FY26-end.

The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma, priced from ₹1.27 lakh (introductory), features significant hardware and software upgrades. Available in 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh battery options, it delivers up to 175 km range, a 95 km/h top speed, and three adaptive ride modes – Eco, City, and Havoc. Built on Oben’s patented LFP battery tech, it ensures better heat resistance, double the lifecycle, and reliability across India’s climate conditions.
Enhancements include a 5-inch TFT display with navigation and smart alerts, reverse mode for tight city manoeuvres, an ergonomic seat design, and a striking new Electric Red colour. Bookings are open at ₹2,999 with deliveries underway from August 15, 2025, including availability through Amazon India.
To further strengthen customer confidence, Oben recently rolled out 24/7 Customer Support and Fast Service Resolution, achieving a 90% issue resolution within 72 hours.
With its aggressive retail push, Oben Electric is positioning itself as a key player in the commuter EV motorcycle space, bridging performance, practicality, and reliability for India’s fast-growing urban and rural EV markets.
