Mahindra XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition Unveiled – India’s Most Awarded Electric SUV Gets a Cinematic Luxury Upgrade
Mahindra has taken its flagship electric SUV a step further with the unveiling of the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition — a more indulgent, theatre-inspired interpretation of its Electric Origin platform.
Based on the top-spec Pack Three variant, the Cineluxe Edition builds upon the success of the already highly decorated Mahindra XEV 9e, which has emerged as India’s most awarded electric SUV. Among its accolades is the coveted Indian Car of the Year (Green Car of the Year 2026), reinforcing its position in the premium EV space.
A More Indulgent Expression
The Cineluxe Edition introduces exclusive Satin Black and Satin White exterior finishes, paired with new Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black smooth-grain leatherette interiors. The focus is clearly on crafting a lounge-like cabin experience, with meticulous attention to textures and detailing.
Step inside, and the SUV leans heavily into its cinematic theme. A coast-to-coast triple HD display dominates the dashboard, complemented by a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos. The Infinity Roof and ambient lighting system — offering over 16 million colour combinations — allow occupants to tailor the cabin mood to suit every drive.
Performance Without Compromise
Under the skin, the Cineluxe Edition retains the 79 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed real-world range of over 500 km. Whether it’s long-distance cruising or urban luxury commuting, Mahindra says the experience remains calm, composed and uncompromised.
Technology-First Luxury
Being based on Pack Three, the Cineluxe comes loaded with advanced tech, including the StraightAhead VisionX AR head-up display, EyeDentity driver and occupant monitoring, HandsFree Park (Auto Park Assist), and Secure360.
New additions such as Camp, Keep and PawPal HVAC modes, Custom Drive Modes, Digital Key, Secure360 Pro and personalised user profiles further enhance the ownership experience — positioning the SUV as adaptive luxury rather than overt flamboyance.
The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition doesn’t shout for attention. Instead, it refines the formula of the standard XEV 9e into something more experiential — a luxury EV designed to be savoured, not rushed.
