Mahindra has officially announced the name of its upcoming all-electric SUV — the XEV 9S, a bold and authentic 7-seater electric SUV built on the company’s advanced INGLO platform. Representing the next phase of Mahindra’s electrification strategy, the XEV 9S blends power, presence, and pure electric performance, while staying true to the brand’s SUV DNA.

Unlike re-engineered ICE models, the Mahindra XEV 9S is a born-electric SUV, purpose-built on the INGLO skateboard architecture. This design not only ensures a low center of gravity for improved stability and ride comfort but also maximizes cabin space thanks to its flat-floor layout. The flexible interior setup features sliding second-row seats, offering passengers a first-class experience across all three rows — making it ideal for families who travel together and live large.

The XEV 9S is designed to embody Mahindra’s philosophy of making space for everything that matters — people, passions, and lifestyle — without compromising on electric performance or presence.

The world will witness the global debut of the Mahindra XEV 9S at the ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru on November 27, 2025, an occasion that also celebrates one year of Mahindra’s all-electric journey and the expanding INGLO portfolio.

With the XEV 9S, Mahindra once again reinforces its vision that when it comes to going electric, bigger is better.
