Hero MotoCorp Clocks 4.5 Lakh+ Dispatches in July 2025, Registers 21% YoY Growth; VIDA Hits Record 11,226 Units
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has reported robust growth in July 2025, dispatching 449,755 units, marking a solid 21% year-on-year increase over the 370,274 units dispatched in July 2024.

The surge in volumes reflects Hero’s continued momentum across segments and markets, with VAHAN retail registrations crossing 339,827 units in the month (excluding Telangana), indicating stable demand across both urban and rural regions. With the festive season on the horizon, the brand expects retail numbers to strengthen further.
Scooters Gain Ground; HF Deluxe Portfolio Expanded
In the scooter segment, Destini 125 and Xoom 125 were key growth drivers, helping Hero make notable market share gains. On the motorcycle front, the company bolstered its entry-level offerings with the launch of the HF Deluxe Pro, which brings updated styling, segment-first features, and class-leading fuel efficiency, further solidifying the HF brand’s value proposition.
VIDA Breaks Records with Over 11,200 Units
Hero’s electric mobility arm, VIDA, recorded its best-ever monthly performance, dispatching 11,226 units in July and logging 10,489 VAHAN registrations. The brand doubled its EV VAHAN market share to 10.2% YoY, signaling rising consumer acceptance of its electric offerings.
The recently launched VIDA EVootor VX2, positioned as the “Scooter of a Changing India,” has received an overwhelming response from consumers. The VX2’s unique Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model and reliability-focused engineering make it a compelling choice for customers entering the EV space.
Global Business Surges 64% YoY
On the international front, Hero MotoCorp’s global business recorded 37,358 units in sales, up 64% YoY, outpacing industry export trends. The company continues to expand its global footprint with reliable, tech-forward products tailored for a range of markets.
