SWITCH Mobility Flags Off 100 Electric Vehicles for Indore’s Waste Management Drive

SWITCH Mobility, a global leader in electric buses and light commercial vehicles, has flagged off 100 custom-built SWITCH IeV3 electric garbage tippers for the Indore Municipal Corporation, boosting the city’s sustainability efforts and clean mobility initiatives.

Graced by Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya, Hon’ble Minister of Urban Development and Housing, and Mr. Pushyamitra Bhargav, Mayor of Indore, the handover underscores Indore’s ongoing leadership in environmental stewardship and urban cleanliness.

These electric vehicles, designed for efficient collection of both wet and dry waste, replace traditional diesel tippers—helping reduce carbon emissions, noise pollution, and fuel dependency. The SWITCH IeV3 comes integrated with the advanced SWITCH iON connected mobility platform, offering real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, route optimization, and superior uptime.
