Ather Energy, India’s premier electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has unveiled a new variant of its 450S electric scooter, now equipped with a 3.7 kWh battery pack offering an impressive IDC range of 161 km. Priced at ₹1,45,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), the latest addition enhances the brand’s 450 series by offering an extended range without sacrificing the performance DNA the series is known for.

This new variant is aimed at riders seeking a longer city commute range at a more accessible price, effectively bridging the gap between the 2.9 kWh 450S and the premium 450X. It retains the same sporty design, 5.4 kW motor producing 22 Nm torque, a top speed of 90 km/h, and 0-40 km/h sprint in 3.9 seconds, all while delivering greater riding distance per charge.
