Volkswagen India has launched the updated Taigun in India at a starting price of ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), introducing over 40 new features along with a new 8-speed automatic transmission paired with the 1.0L TSI engine.
The refreshed Taigun is offered with nine exterior colour options and continues to focus on a blend of performance, safety, and technology. Key highlights include a digital cockpit, updated infotainment system, connected tech, and segment-leading safety with six airbags and a 5-star G-NCAP rating.
Volkswagen has also introduced an industry-first assured buyback program, offering up to 75% residual value for ownership of up to three years or 30,000 km. The scheme, valid on bookings till May 31, 2026, aims to enhance customer confidence with benefits like easy upgrades and exchange options.
The SUV continues with its proven TSI engine lineup, including the 1.5L TSI with DSG, delivering strong performance and efficiency. With refreshed design elements, improved interiors, and enhanced feature packaging across variants, the new Taigun strengthens Volkswagen’s position in India’s competitive compact SUV segment.
