During its Annual Brand Conference 2024 in Jaipur and Mumbai, Volkswagen India introduced an array of new product offerings tailored for the Indian market, breathing fresh life into its product portfolio. The Brand unveiled the new GT Plus Sport and GT Line variants for the Taigun, alongside announcing a revamped line structure for the SUV. Marking a significant stride towards electrification, Volkswagen India also proudly presented the ID.4 amidst a flurry of excitement.
Creating a buzz among SUV enthusiasts, Volkswagen India commenced bookings for the newly introduced Taigun GT Plus Sport and Taigun GT Line variants. Additionally, the Brand revealed a novel concept derived from the immensely popular Virtus sedan, aimed at embodying the dynamic and potent essence of Virtus while enhancing the allure of the GT badge on this iconic sedan.

Designed to amplify the SUV’s bold nature in a ‘dark styled’ avatar, the Taigun GT Plus Sport draws inspiration from the thrill of driving a Taigun and will be available in all colour options. The SUV boasts numerous exterior and interior enhancements, including a Carbon Steel-colored roof, Glossy black B-pillar, Red front brake callipers, and more, totalling 19 exterior and 14 interior enhancements.
In a move to democratize sporty aesthetics, Volkswagen India introduced the GT Line with the Taigun 1.0l TSI engine, making sporty-styled aesthetics more accessible to customers. The Taigun GT Line will come with aesthetic enhancements both externally and internally, featuring elements like the GT Line badge, Matte Black finish B-pillar, Glossy black dashboard décor, Red ambient lights, and more, ensuring enhanced customer confidence with standard 6-Airbags across all variants.
