Aims for 37 Outlets Nationwide by 2028 to Redefine India’s Used Car Market

Chandigarh, October 15, 2025: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has expanded its pre-owned car business with the inauguration of a new Toyota Mobility Solutions and Services India Pvt. Ltd. (TMSS) outlet in Chandigarh. A wholly owned subsidiary of TKM, TMSS is designed to transform India’s used car ecosystem through transparency, reliability, and Toyota’s global quality standards.

Located at Plot No. B56, Industrial Area Phase-6, Mohali, the state-of-the-art 8,500 sq. ft. facility can display over 10 certified pre-owned vehicles and offers:

  • 203-point inspection for Toyota-certified used cars

  • Comprehensive refurbishment using Toyota Genuine Parts and the exclusive Maru-Maru premium cleaning process

  • Uniform “One Price for All” policy ensuring fair and transparent pricing

  • Value-added services, including trade-ins, extended warranties, and roadside assistance

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Tadashi Asazuma, Deputy Managing Director, TKM, said,

Since entering the used car segment in 2022, Toyota’s pre-owned business has grown steadily, with outlets in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Guwahati, and nearly 4,000 units sold to date, with over 30% sales driven by customer referrals.

TMSS also offers digitally integrated vehicle evaluations via the Toyota U-Trust website and up to 2 years or 30,000 km warranty with 3 complimentary services, underscoring Toyota’s focus on customer satisfaction and dependable ownership experiences.
