
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has pulled the covers off the production-ready Tata Sierra at the brand’s first-ever Sierra Brand Day, marking the return of one of India’s most iconic SUVs. Reimagined for a new era while staying true to its unmistakable silhouette, the new Sierra revives the nameplate’s spirit of freedom, individuality and boundless exploration.
In a showcase that blended nostalgia with contemporary flair, Tata Motors traced the Sierra’s journey from its 1991 origins to its bold new avatar. The SUV will officially debut on 25 November 2025, signalling a significant milestone in Tata’s design-led product evolution.

Speaking at the event, Martin Uhlarik, Vice President and Head of Global Design at Tata Motors, said the Sierra is “a living symbol of Indian ingenuity and aspiration,” adding that the new model honours the legacy of the original while pushing the boundaries of modern automotive design. “Reimagining a legend is not simply an act of nostalgia — it’s a testament to courageous design and innovation,” he noted.

The unveiling also served as a platform for a series of exclusive collaborations with leading Indian brands, each interpreting the Sierra’s ethos of originality and self-expression through their own creative lens.

• Delhi Watch Company – Craft Meets Character
A limited-edition Sierra X DWC timepiece inspired by the SUV’s B-pillar details, topographic patterns and the signature horse motif. Only 500 numbered units will be offered.
• DIVINE – Freedom in Every Beat
The Sierra features in DIVINE’s latest track You & I, symbolising power, confidence and individuality in a collaboration that blends automotive design with contemporary music culture.
• Gully Labs – Streetwear with Sierra Soul
Gully Labs’ Dvaita sneaker gets a Sierra-themed redesign with topographic cues, a horse emblem and a signature yellow heel patch — a nod to exploration and self-expression.
• HUEMN – Where Roads Meet Runways
A capsule collection of tees, jackets and caps that channels the Sierra’s bold yet minimal design, crafted for those who celebrate fearless individuality.

• Nappa Dori – Heritage Meets Modern Luxury
A refined travel gear line inspired by the SUV’s silhouette and earthy colour palette, designed to age gracefully and echo the Sierra’s legacy of thoughtful craftsmanship.
• Starbucks – Brewing Curiosity
A specially crafted Sierra x Starbucks tumbler featuring topographical lines and the SUV’s silhouette, celebrating shared journeys and everyday rituals.
