Renault India has unveiled an ambitious plan under its Renaulution 2024 initiative, aiming to introduce five new models by 2027. This emphasizes Renault’s commitment to the Indian market, considering it as one of the key hubs globally. The company will roll out its new brand identity across its network in 2024 and extend it to all models by 2025. Among the five upcoming launches, the new Triber and Kiger have been confirmed, although specific timelines and updates are yet to be disclosed. The Triber, a compact 7-seater, and the Kiger, a compact SUV, are expected to receive updates to stay competitive in their segments.

Renault is also anticipated to launch the new Duster in India, along with a 7-seat version based on the Bigster concept. The new Duster, built on the modular CMF-B platform, retains the muscular design of its predecessor. Additionally, Renault plans to introduce an affordable, localized all-electric car, likely the Kwid EV, positioning it to compete with other electric vehicles in the market.

As part of the Renaulution 2024 initiative, Renault has updated its existing portfolio in India. The Kwid now offers new features and variant rationalization, making it the most affordable hatchback with a touchscreen and automatic transmission in the country. The Triber and Kiger have also received feature updates and price adjustments, while the Kiger’s base model is now more affordable.

Overall, Renault aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian market with a range of new models, updates to existing ones, and a focus on electric vehicles, aligning with its global Renaulution strategy.
