Renault Unveils Iconic Art Installation at Delhi International Airport

On the eve of India’s 79th Independence Day, Renault India revealed a striking 30 ft x 30 ft hand-painted art installation near Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. The artwork, seamlessly integrating Renault’s futuristic diamond emblem, stands as a bold symbol of the carmaker’s India-focused “renault.rethink” transformation strategy.

More than just a landmark structure, the installation represents a fusion of India’s artistic heritage with French design sensibilities, echoing Renault’s Indo-French legacy. The vibrant piece reimagines ancient Indian grandeur through the lens of contemporary street culture, music, fashion, and youth expression. From Delhi’s iconic architecture to modern body language and instruments, the installation creates a pop-futuristic narrative that connects tradition with modernity.

Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President – Renault India, commented:
“This installation is more than art; it is a cultural dialogue. It celebrates India’s vibrancy while harmonising with Renault’s French design DNA. Unveiling it on Independence Day is our tribute to a nation deeply rooted in tradition yet constantly reimagining its future.”

Strategically placed at one of India’s busiest travel hubs, the installation invites millions of travellers to pause, reflect, and engage with Renault’s creative spirit. As much a statement of cultural pride as it is of brand philosophy, the project reinforces Renault’s commitment to building a deeper, more meaningful connection with India.
