Renault India has unveiled the all-new Renault Duster, marking the return of one of India’s most iconic mid-size SUVs. The new Duster retains its rugged, adventure-focused DNA while advancing significantly in design, powertrain technology, comfort, safety and ownership experience.
Unveiled at a large-scale public event in Chennai attended by over 15,000 enthusiasts, the new Duster is Renault Group’s first product under its International Game Plan for India. Built specifically for Indian conditions with nearly 90% local content, the SUV is based on the new Renault Group Modular Platform engineered for extreme climates and 5-star safety standards.
The powertrain lineup includes the Turbo TCe 160 petrol with best-in-segment 163 PS and 280 Nm, Turbo TCe 100 petrol, and the debut of the Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160, capable of up to 80% electric driving in city conditions. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed wet-clutch DCT.
The new Duster features bold SUV styling, 212 mm of ground clearance, best-in-segment approach and departure angles, a premium fighter-jet-inspired interior, Google-built-in infotainment, advanced ADAS, and up to a 7-year warranty under the Renault Forever programme. Prices will be announced in mid-March, with deliveries beginning in April 2026.
