Porsche has introduced its latest electric vehicle, the all-new electric Macan, featuring two four-wheel-drive variants: the Macan 4 with 408hp and the Macan Turbo with a powerful 639hp. The electric Macan will coexist with its petrol-powered counterpart until the close of 2025, marking a transition to an exclusively electric lineup.

Nomenclature and Platform
While the E-Macan moniker used during development has been discarded, the production model will simply be known as the Macan. This electric model serves as the engineering cornerstone for Porsche’s future electric vehicles, sharing its Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture with the Audi Q6 E-tron and the forthcoming electric Cayenne.

Exterior Design
Departing from the traditional Macan aesthetic, the electric variant adopts design elements from the Taycan. Notable features include rectangular headlights and a distinctive wraparound LED rear light bar. The sleeker profile and retractable spoiler enhance aerodynamics, deviating from the original Macan’s look.
