Nissan Magnite Hits 2 Lakh Sales Globally – A Made-in-India Success Story
Nissan’s compact SUV, the Magnite, just crossed a major milestone—2,00,000 units sold globally since its launch in 2020! That includes both domestic and export markets, showing just how far this made-in-India SUV has gone.

The Magnite was a game-changer when it launched—bold looks, solid safety features, good tech, and great value. It carved out a strong space for itself in the crowded B-SUV segment, and clearly, customers in India and abroad took notice. It’s now sold in over 65 countries, spanning both RHD and LHD markets.
Saurabh Vatsa, MD at Nissan Motor India, called it a “proud moment” and thanked customers for trusting the brand. He reaffirmed Nissan’s commitment to the Indian market with the “Make in India, Make for the World” approach that’s driving both domestic and export success.

Adding to the momentum, Nissan has also introduced a CNG retrofit kit for the Magnite. Priced at ₹74,999 and approved by the government, the Motozen-supplied kit works with the 1.0L naturally aspirated MT variant—a smart move considering rising fuel costs and increasing demand for cleaner alternatives.
The Magnite already comes packed with 20+ first-in-segment features, 55+ safety features, and a solid road presence. Nissan wrapped up FY2024- 25 with 99,000+ total sales, including 28,000+ units sold in India and a record 71,000+ exports—its best performance in 7 years.
The numbers say it all—the Magnite isn’t just a compact SUV, it’s a global crowd-puller.
