Mercedes-Benz India is celebrating the first anniversary of its New Long Wheelbase (LWB) E-Class, India’s best-selling luxury sedan, with the introduction of an exclusive ‘Verde Silver’ paint finish. The milestone underscores the success of the model, which has won nine prestigious awards in 2024, including ICOTY 2024 Luxury Sedan of the Year.

Since its launch in October 2024, the new LWB E-Class has emerged as the most desirable luxury sedan in the country, with over 62,000 units on Indian roads. Tailored to Indian preferences, it features an Enhanced Agility Control Suspension, tuned specifically for Indian road conditions, offering a balance of comfort and stability.

New Feature Highlights

The Verde Silver anniversary edition is available across all three variants—E200, E220d, and E450 4MATIC AMG Line—and retains the model’s hallmark blend of luxury, space, and digital innovation. Key highlights include:

  • MBUX Superscreen (3rd Gen): AI-powered interface with five display styles, zero-layer functionality, and enhanced personalization.

  • AI-Powered Routines: Automates frequently used comfort functions.

  • Rear-Seat Luxury: Seats recline up to 36 degrees with extendable thigh support, comfort pillows, and electric sun blinds.

  • Burmester® 4D Surround Sound with Dolby Atmos: 17 speakers, 4 exciters, and 730-watt output for a class-leading audio experience.

  • In-Car Selfie & Video Camera: Enables video calls via the Vivaldi browser.

  • Safety: Eight airbags, including a first-in-segment centre airbag, Blind Spot Assist, PRE-SAFE® system, and driver knee airbag.
