Mercedes-Benz India has reinforced its commitment to emerging growth markets with the inauguration of its first-ever luxury showroom and state-of-the-art service facility in Kanpur, under the stewardship of dealer partner Prime Star. This marks a significant milestone as the brand expands its presence in Uttar Pradesh, a region experiencing rapid industrial growth and increasing demand for luxury mobility.
The new 3,700 sq. ft. Prime Star Kanpur showroom is designed to deliver Mercedes-Benz’s global luxury retail experience, featuring an Exclusive Lounge for ultra-luxury vehicles such as the S-Class and Maybach, a private delivery bay, and digital-first customer consultation areas. The facility blends contemporary design with advanced digital solutions, ensuring a personalized and immersive purchase experience.
Complementing the showroom is a 26,000 sq. ft. service facility located on NH-19, equipped with 19 service bays, including Premier Express Bay capable of 60-minute servicing. Two 180 kW ultra-fast EV chargers—one at the showroom and another at the service center—underline Mercedes-Benz’s focus on future-ready infrastructure, with charging access extended to all EV owners in Kanpur.

Speaking at the inauguration, Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said:

The Kanpur expansion is part of Mercedes-Benz’s aggressive network strategy, with 11 new touchpoints opened this year and 12 more planned before the end of the year, bringing its luxury footprint to over 140 touchpoints across more than 50 cities in India.
