Audi has officially unveiled the all-new Q9, its new flagship luxury SUV positioned above the Q7, bringing together premium comfort, advanced technology and mild-hybrid efficiency. Built in Bratislava, the Q9 will be available to order in Europe from July 2026, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in November.
The new Audi Q9 is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 TDI engine paired with an MHEV Plus mild-hybrid system, producing up to 220 kW (300 hp) and 630 Nm of torque. The hybrid system provides electric assistance during acceleration and low-speed driving, improving both efficiency and responsiveness. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and Audi’s permanent quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Inside, the Q9 features Audi’s latest digital cabin with a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit, 14.5-inch OLED MMI touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch passenger display equipped with privacy mode. The infotainment system runs on Android Automotive OS, supports third-party apps through the Audi Application Store, and integrates ChatGPT-powered voice assistance for natural-language interaction.
Comfort remains a key focus with adaptive air suspension offered as standard, providing adjustable ride height and continuously variable damping. Buyers can also opt for adaptive air suspension sport, while all-wheel steering enhances agility in urban driving and improves stability at higher speeds.
The flagship SUV is equipped with ventilated disc brakes, multiple drive modes through Audi Drive Select, and an optional integrated dashcam system. The Q9 is expected to further strengthen Audi’s luxury SUV portfolio with its combination of refinement, technology and long-distance comfort.
In Germany, the Audi Q9 TDI starts at €108,400, with deliveries beginning in November 2026.
