Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid Debuts with TFT Display and Turn-by-Turn Navigation in India
Yamaha has added a futuristic twist to its neo-retro roadster with the launch of the 2025 FZ-X Hybrid, now packing the brand’s Hybrid Engine Technology, a color TFT console, and Turn-by-Turn (TBT) navigation. Priced at ₹1,49,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new FZ-X Hybrid blends fuel efficiency, smart features, and iconic Yamaha styling.

Building on the success of the FZ-S Fi Hybrid, the FZ-X now comes with Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and Stop & Start System (SSS) tech. These allow for smoother starts, better low-end torque, and improved mileage by cutting off the engine at idle and restarting via clutch input.
The rider interface gets a big boost too — a 4.2-inch full-color TFT display now replaces the older LCD. Connected via the Y-Connect app, riders can access real-time Google-powered navigation, call alerts, SMS notifications, and more. The TBT navigation brings direction prompts, road names, and junction info right to your console, ideal for city and touring duties.
Speaking about the launch, Itaru Otani, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group, said:
“After the tremendous response to our Hybrid tech in the FZ-S, it was natural to bring the same innovation to the FZ-X. This model blends practicality, premium features, and Yamaha’s DNA of sporty performance.”

For riders preferring a more traditional setup, Yamaha will continue to offer the standard (non-hybrid) FZ-X variant at ₹1,29,990 (ex-showroom), available in Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black.
Powering the FZ-X is a 149cc air-cooled fuel-injected engine delivering 12.4PS at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm at 5,500rpm. The bike also features Traction Control System (TCS) and single-channel ABS for confident braking and grip. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and a 7-step adjustable Monocross at the rear.
Other highlights include a two-level seat with a tuck-and-roll texture, neo-retro styling, robust build, and now, the iconic Yamaha logomark on the tank.

With this launch, Yamaha continues its push toward a smarter, connected, and greener riding future—delivering modern tech while staying true to its performance-first philosophy.
