TVS Motor Company, a global leader in two and three-wheeler manufacturing, has joined forces with Swiss startup Aegis Rider to unveil a revolutionary Augmented Reality (AR) Heads-Up Display (HUD) helmet at EICMA 2025 in Milan. The innovation, showcased in the TVS Connect zone, marks a major leap in smart connectivity and ride assistance technology.

The Aegis Rider vision helmet, featuring TVS branding, integrates spatial anchoring and AR to project real-time navigation, hazard alerts, and call notifications directly into the rider’s line of sight—without diverting focus from the road. This next-gen innovation aims to redefine rider safety and awareness, making it a key milestone in the evolution of intelligent mobility.

Visitors at EICMA experienced live demos of the technology on the TVS RTR 310, highlighting its seamless motorcycle integration. The helmet’s magnetic binocular AR glass, µOLED projector, and Qualcomm processor deliver crisp visuals with adaptive brightness and anti-glare clarity. A 7,000mAh battery powers up to four hours of wireless connectivity to motorcycle systems and smartphones, offering navigation, calls, music control, and an integrated 5MP action camera. It meets ECE 22.06 and DOT safety standards.

Simon Hecker, Founder & CEO of Aegis Rider, noted that the integration with TVS enables access to real-time vehicle data like turn signals, RPM, and gear position, offering a unified, intuitive interface for riders.

TVS’s partnership with Aegis Rider reinforces its commitment to smarter mobility and advanced rider assistance. Upcoming updates will introduce V2X connectivity and cloud-based analytics, aligning with TVS’s vision of creating intelligent, connected two-wheelers for the global market.
