In a customer-first move ahead of the festive season, Triumph Motorcycles has announced a price reduction on its popular Speed 400 and Speed T4 models, even as the GST on motorcycles above 350cc has increased to 40%. The brand, along with Bajaj Auto Ltd., has chosen to absorb the additional costs, offering enthusiasts a welcome surprise instead of a price hike.

The Speed 400 is now priced at ₹2,33,754 (down from ₹2,50,551), while the Speed T4 is available at ₹1,92,539 (down from ₹2,06,738), marking a reduction of up to ₹16,797.

The Speed range has been a standout success story for Triumph in India, emerging as one of the fastest-growing lineups in its portfolio. Monthly volumes have nearly doubled since FY23–24, underscoring the growing trust and demand among Indian riders for Triumph’s mid-size motorcycles.

“The Speed 400 and Speed T4 have set benchmarks in performance, design, and accessibility,” said Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd. “By absorbing the impact of the GST revision and introducing a price slash, Triumph and Bajaj are reaffirming their commitment to the Indian market and ensuring that the Speed range continues to deliver unmatched value.”

This decision highlights Triumph’s long-term vision of offering premium, performance-oriented motorcycles that blend iconic British design with modern engineering, while keeping them accessible to a wider community of riders in India.
