The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), the world’s only franchise-based supercross platform, raised the bar with its Season 2 Athlete Auction, attracting global talent and record-breaking bids. With over 155 international and Indian registrations, the auction has emerged as one of the biggest motorsport bidding events ever held in India.

Franchises went all out, spending more than ₹6 crore to secure top names across the 450cc and 250cc categories. Riders from France, the USA, Indonesia, and India dominated the night, reflecting the league’s growing global stature. France led the international contingent with 13 riders finding team slots.

Auction Highlights

  • Top Bid Rider: Kyle Peters led the pack with a record ₹20.7 lakh contract.

  • Top Indian Rider: Rugved Barguje fetched ₹9.5 lakh, one of the highest bids for an Indian rider.

  • Youngest Signing: Australia’s Jack Nunn (16 years) joined the 250cc category, underlining the league’s next-gen appeal.

  • New Franchise Picks: Indewheelers Motorsports signed Greg Arenda & Maxime Desprey, while Tricolor Motorsports picked Adrien Malaval & Paul Haberland.

“This auction proves India is ready to support motorsport at scale. ISRL is creating not just a racing league but a new sports economy where athletes, teams, brands, and fans converge,” said Veer Patel, Director, ISRL.
