The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), the world’s first franchise-based Supercross racing league, has officially announced Hyderabad as the host city for Round 2 of Season 2. The iconic GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium, Gachibowli, will welcome motorsport fans on December 6–7, 2025, further cementing Telangana’s growing reputation as a hub for global-standard sporting events.
The announcement event, marked by the symbolic exchange of the ISRL helmet and poster unveiling, highlighted the strong partnership between ISRL and the Government of Telangana, with support from the Ministry of Sports and the Sports Authority of Telangana (SATS). Dignitaries present included Shri A.P. Jithender Reddy (Former MP and Special Representative, Govt. of Telangana at New Delhi), Shri Satish Goud (Treasurer, Telangana Olympic Association), along with N. Gautham (Co-owner, Big Rock Motorsports SX Franchise), and ISRL Co-Founder, Eeshan Lokhande.
Hon. Sports Minister, Shri Vakiti Srihari, lauded the league’s role in bringing world-class motorsport to the state, stating:
“Telangana has always invested in empowering youth through sports with world-class venues and opportunities. Motorsport, through ISRL, reflects competitiveness, resilience, and growth. With leagues of this caliber, we are diversifying opportunities, creating jobs, and firmly placing Hyderabad on the global sporting map.”
Adding to this, ISRL Co-Founder Eeshan Lokhande said:
“This announcement is a testament to the deep-rooted passion for motorsport in Telangana. With ISRL, we aim to create pathways for athletes, inspire the next generation, and unlock significant sporting and entertainment opportunities for Hyderabad and its youth.”
The event also underlined ISRL’s commitment to safeguarding stadium infrastructure, ensuring the venue returns to full operation post-event. Beyond sport, the league is set to contribute to economic growth, motorsport tourism, and youth skill development in the region.
ISRL Season 2 will be hosted across three major Indian cities:
