Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled major updates to its Speed Twin 1200 lineup, along with introducing the new Speed Twin 1200 RS—designed to deliver a sharper, more engaging, and dynamic riding experience.

Set to hit Indian dealerships in January 2025, the updated Speed Twin 1200 now features enhanced chassis components, including Marzocchi forks and twin Marzocchi rear suspension units. These upgrades ensure balanced, confident handling with improved agility for an exceptional cornering experience.
The refined performance includes an additional 5PS of peak power, boosting the riding thrill and character of the bike. Cutting-edge technologies like Optimized Cornering ABS and traction control are seamlessly integrated for added safety and control.

Visually, the Speed Twin 1200 blends modern sports styling with classic design DNA. The bike showcases premium details such as a sculpted fuel tank, minimalist side panels, brushed aluminum finishes, and updated LED lighting with a distinctive DRL signature. The new one-piece bench seat is reprofiled for comfort and sportier aesthetics.

Speed Twin 1200 RS: Focused Performance
The new Speed Twin 1200 RS ups the ante with sportier ergonomics, repositioned handlebars, rear-set footpegs, fully adjustable Marzocchi forks, Öhlins rear suspension, and Brembo Stylema calipers. Paired with Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tires, the RS promises enhanced handling and grip. It also debuts Triumph Shift Assist, a quick-shifter exclusive to this model, and a Sport riding mode for sharper throttle response.
Dynamic Handling and Riding Comfort
Each model delivers a unique riding experience. The Speed Twin 1200 features higher, forward-positioned handlebars and updated Marzocchi suspension for a smooth and agile ride. The RS model, on the other hand, offers a more aggressive stance with a raised seat height and refined ergonomics for focused performance.
Thrilling Engine and Performance
Both models are powered by the high-compression Bonneville 1200 twin-engine, producing 105PS at 7,750rpm and 112Nm of torque. The 270-degree firing order ensures a responsive and character-rich riding experience, while optimized tuning allows riders to push harder and longer.
Advanced Technology Meets Timeless Design
Both bikes include Road and Rain riding modes, with the RS adding a Sport mode for more dynamic control. A first for the Bonneville lineup, the RS integrates a Triumph Shift Assist quick-shifter. Modern touches like a new LCD-TFT hybrid display with turn-by-turn navigation, phone connectivity, and USB-C charging enhance the bikes’ functionality without compromising their classic aesthetics.
Premium Details and Options
Attention to detail is evident in the brushed aluminum finishes, re-styled engine casings, and clear-anodized swingarm and headlight brackets. Riders can customize their bikes with over 50 genuine accessories, including clip-on handlebars and café racer-inspired seats.

The Speed Twin 1200 starts at INR 12,75,000 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi), while the Speed Twin 1200 RS is priced at INR 15,49,990 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). Bikes will begin arriving in dealerships from December 2024, with more information and configuration options available at triumphmotorcycles.in.
