2025 Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 Debuts with TFT Display, Bluetooth Connectivity, and Striking New Colours
Now available in Ice Storm, Vivid Violet Metallic, and Metallic Silver Cyan | Prices start at ₹1.69 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi)
Yamaha Motor India has officially launched the updated 2025 MT-15 Version 2.0, introducing a host of tech upgrades and vibrant new colour options under its popular brand campaign ‘The Call of the Blue’. Priced at ₹1.69 lakh for the standard variant and ₹1.80 lakh for the DLX (Deluxe) variant, the new MT-15 aims to raise the bar in the entry-level street-naked segment.

Tech-Packed TFT Display & Y-Connect Integration
The highlight of the 2025 MT-15 DLX is the all-new full-colour TFT instrument cluster with Turn-by-Turn Navigation, offering improved readability and rider engagement. Bluetooth connectivity via Yamaha’s Y-Connect Mobile App adds several smart features, including:
-
Maintenance Recommendations
-
Last Parked Location
-
Real-Time Fuel Consumption
-
Malfunction Alerts
-
Revs Dashboard
-
Rider Ranking System
This feature-rich update echoes Yamaha’s customer-first approach, responding to strong demand for connected tech—first seen on the R15M—within the MT lineup.
Bold New Colours for a Younger Audience
The 2025 MT-15 DLX variant introduces two all-new colour schemes:
-
Ice Storm – a globally acclaimed shade now available in India
-
Vivid Violet Metallic – adding a fresh, youthful vibe
Meanwhile, the standard variant gets a refresh with Metallic Silver Cyan, amplifying the MT’s edgy, urban persona. The existing Metallic Black colour continues to be on offer.
Performance Meets Practicality
At the heart of the 2025 MT-15 is the familiar and proven 155cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). It churns out 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm and 14.1 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox featuring Assist & Slipper Clutch for smoother downshifts.
A Traction Control System further enhances safety and ride confidence, especially on slippery roads—a rare addition in this segment.
Engineered Like a Streetfighter Should Be
Built on Yamaha’s signature Deltabox frame, the MT-15 features a MotoGP-inspired aluminium swingarm, delivering enhanced handling, cornering stability, and structural rigidity. Weighing just 141 kg, it promises nimble agility without compromising high-speed confidence.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Itaru Otani, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies, stated:
“The MT-15 Version 2.0 has earned a strong fanbase for its aggressive design and dynamic performance. With the introduction of a colour TFT display and fresh colours, we are responding directly to customer feedback.
