Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), one of India’s leading automotive manufacturers, reported total sales of 1,00,298 vehicles in September 2025, marking a robust 16% year-on-year growth, including exports.
In the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, Mahindra sold 56,233 units in the domestic market, a 10% increase over last year, while overall UV sales (including exports) reached 58,714 units. However, SUV billing numbers were slightly impacted in the last 10 days of the month due to trailer availability constraints.
Festive Boost Drives Navratri Sales
According to Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO – Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., festive demand gave Mahindra’s sales strong momentum.
“In September, we achieved SUV sales of 56,233 units, a 10% growth, and total vehicle sales of 1,00,298 units, a 16% increase YoY. The introduction of GST 2.0 and pent-up demand have driven record festive sales. During the first nine days of Navratri, dealer-reported retails grew by over 60% in SUVs and over 70% in CVs compared to last year.”
Despite supply-side constraints, Mahindra is working to streamline dispatches to meet festive demand.
