Lexus India has introduced its Smart Ownership Plan, a flexible ownership solution aimed at making luxury vehicles more accessible to aspirational buyers. Part of the Lexus Promise initiative, the program has been designed to meet the evolving expectations of customers seeking premium experiences with greater financial convenience.

The Smart Ownership Plan allows customers to enjoy Lexus vehicles with easy EMIs and enhanced flexibility. At the end of the term, buyers can choose to return the vehicle, retain it by paying a pre-agreed Guaranteed Future Value (GFV), or upgrade to a new Lexus with the latest features. This Assured Buyback option provides peace of mind by locking in the vehicle’s resale value upfront, reducing concerns about depreciation or resale negotiations.

Available on the Lexus ES, NX, and RX models, the program also encourages upgrades every three to five years, enabling owners to stay ahead with the brand’s latest technology, safety, and design advancements.

Speaking on the launch, Hikaru Ikeuchi, President, Lexus India, said:

It offers true peace of mind and convenience while making Lexus ownership more desirable, accessible, and smart.”

Since entering India in 2017, Lexus has consistently emphasized guest-first hospitality (Omotenashi). In line with this, the brand now offers an industry-first 8-year/160,000 km warranty on all new Lexus models sold after June 1, 2024. Complementing this is the Lexus Luxury Care service package, available in Comfort, Relax, and Premiere options, covering up to 8 years/160,000 km.

With its combination of extended warranty, comprehensive service packages, and now the Smart Ownership Plan, Lexus Promise aims to redefine luxury ownership in India — offering flexibility, innovation, and unmatched peace of mind.
