Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions has announced a strategic alliance with rapid-charging pioneer Exponent Energy to introduce India’s fastest charging solution for L5 and L3 electric three-wheelers — the country’s largest and fastest-growing EV segment.
Through this partnership, Kinetic Green’s popular L3 models — Safar Smart, Safar Shakti and Super DX — now support 15-minute rapid charging, allowing quick top-ups during short breaks and boosting daily operating hours by up to 30%. The high-performance L5N Safar Jumbo loader also benefits from the tech, cutting turnaround times and increasing earning potential. The upcoming L5M passenger variant will adopt the same system to enhance long-route utilisation.
Powered by Exponent Energy’s full-stack platform — advanced batteries, smart charging network and intelligent software — the solution offers 15-minute charging, seamless compatibility with Exponent’s growing network, and an industry-leading 3,000-cycle warranty. Real-time SoC monitoring, predictive maintenance, and fleet analytics further improve uptime for operators.
Dr. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder & CEO, Kinetic Green, said the partnership delivers a “defining moment” for India’s e3W sector, bringing true rapid charging to e-rickshaws and cargo carts. Exponent Energy CEO Arun Vinayak added that the collaboration will make EVs “the easiest choice” for real-world operators across L3 and L5 categories.
Exponent’s 160+ charging stations across four cities will now support Kinetic Green users, with a rapid expansion planned across major metros and tier-II/III markets over the next year. The move strengthens Kinetic Green’s push for fast-charging-integrated e3W solutions, with a strong focus on the high-growth L3 segment.
