JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., one of India’s leading tyre manufacturers, has expanded its Off-the-Road (OTR) lineup with the launch of four new tyres at EXCON 2025, South Asia’s largest construction equipment trade fair, being held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).

The new products were unveiled by Dr. R. Mukhopadhyay, Director (R&D), underscoring the brand’s commitment to delivering advanced, application-focused solutions for the construction, mining and industrial sectors.

Taking centre stage at the booth was the all-new SKY GRIP, a tyre purpose-built for Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) and Boom Lifts used across construction, infrastructure maintenance, warehousing and industrial operations. The 355/55D625 SKY GRIP has been engineered to deliver enhanced stability, superior traction and consistent performance at elevated working heights. It is compatible with articulated and telescopic boom lifts, telehandlers and rough-terrain aerial platforms, offering safer mobility and dependable operation across varied surfaces.

Alongside the SKY GRIP, JK Tyre also introduced three additional OTR tyres aimed at critical industrial and mining applications.

  • The 14.00-25 GTL PLUS is designed for backhoe loaders, offering strong stability, durability and reliable performance in frequent loading and excavation cycles.

  • The 23.5-25 GTL PLUS variant caters to wheel loaders, delivering improved traction and endurance on demanding terrain.

  • For harsh underground mining environments, the 14.00-20 VEM AS-UG features a reinforced casing and specialised compound engineered to withstand abrasive conditions and the rigorous duty cycles of shuttle cars.
