The milestone event in Chennai was attended by Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, as Chief Guest, along with Shri Vikrampati Singhania, Managing Director, JK Fenner, and leading industry representatives.
Headquartered in Chennai, JK Fenner operates nine modern manufacturing plants, five of them in Tamil Nadu, supported by three advanced RCD centres and a team of over 120 specialists serving global OEMs. The company has earned accolades from international and Indian clients, including John Deere, Timken, AutoZone, Dana, and leading Indian OEMs.
Speaking at the occasion, Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin lauded the company’s contribution:
“I congratulate JK Fenner for its glorious 70-year journey. With contributions from companies like JK Fenner, Tamil Nadu has built a strong industrial base. The company has supported more than 10 lakh people through its CSR programmes, and the government will continue to support such organisations in expanding their global reach.”

Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman, JK Fenner (India) Ltd., added:
“This milestone is not just a number, but a legacy of resilience and innovation. From one facility in Madurai, we now operate nine state-of-the-art plants. Tomorrow, we will proudly roll out our 75 millionth belt from our Madurai plant, underscoring our leadership in power transmission solutions.”
Mr. Vikrampati Singhania, Managing Director, JK Fenner, highlighted the company’s future focus:
“From humble beginnings, we have grown into a trusted partner across automotive, industrial, agriculture, railways, and defence sectors. Going forward, our priority will be on future mobility, sustainability, and global expansion through innovation and digitalisation.”
Founded in 1955 and brought under JK Organisation in 1987, JK Fenner has evolved from a single-product V-belt manufacturer to a diversified solutions provider in belt systems, sealing systems, and fluid transmission technologies. Its products power everyday life—spanning vehicles, industrial machinery, agriculture, railways, defence, and electric mobility.
The company has also made sustainability a cornerstone of its operations: 70% of energy comes from renewables, 91% of water is reused, and its CSR outreach across six states and 18 districts in Tamil Nadu has impacted over 10 lakh lives through education, healthcare, skill development, women empowerment, and environmental initiatives.
With over 4,000 employees in Tamil Nadu and investments exceeding ₹7,000 crore, JK Fenner continues to play a vital role in the state’s growth. Positioned at the heart of India’s automotive and industrial transformation, the company is gearing up to support the nation’s journey towards a $10 trillion economy.
