Bike Bazaar EV Rentals Hosts Rider Safety Meet in Bengaluru, Announces Strategic Alliance with E-Sprinto for 10,000 Electric Scooters
In a strong push towards safer, sustainable mobility, Bike Bazaar EV Rentals hosted a rider-focused safety and engagement meet in Bengaluru, bringing together over 100 riders, government officials, and industry leaders. The event, held at the company’s Bengaluru yard, also marked a major announcement: a strategic partnership with electric two-wheeler brand E-Sprinto, with a plan to deploy 10,000 electric scooters to support India’s booming last-mile delivery segment.
The event stood out not just for its scale, but for its rider-first approach. Senior officials from the Bengaluru Transport and Police Departments addressed the audience, underscoring the importance of road safety and responsible riding, especially crucial for gig workers who navigate urban chaos daily.
Mr. Chandra Shekar Patil, Senior RTO Official from the Transport Department, emphasized the role of awareness in EV adoption:
“The rapid adoption of EVs must go hand-in-hand with responsible usage. I commend Bike Bazaar for engaging riders directly and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.”
Mr. Kundhan, Traffic Inspector from Hennur, echoed this sentiment while outlining key traffic norms—helmet usage, lane discipline, and speed regulations—that every delivery rider should follow.
On the sidelines of the event, Mr. Atul Gupta, Director at E-Sprinto, shared the significance of the alliance:
