Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has launched the all-new Tata Winger Plus, a 9-seater premium passenger vehicle tailored for staff transportation as well as the expanding travel and tourism segment. Priced at ₹20.60 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the Winger Plus promises enhanced passenger comfort, improved fleet efficiency, and the lowest total cost of ownership in its class.
The new Winger Plus raises the bar with reclining captain seats, adjustable armrests, individual USB charging ports, dedicated AC vents, generous legroom, and a spacious luggage compartment. Built on a robust monocoque chassis, it combines stability and safety with a car-like driving experience to reduce fatigue on long hauls.
Under the hood, the Winger Plus is powered by Tata’s proven 2.2-litre Dicor diesel engine, producing 100 hp and 200 Nm of torque. It also comes integrated with the Tata Motors Fleet Edge platform, offering real-time vehicle tracking, diagnostics, and fleet management capabilities for operators.
Speaking at the launch, Anand S, Vice President and Head – Commercial Passenger Vehicle Business, Tata Motors, said:
“The Winger Plus has been thoughtfully engineered to deliver a premium experience for passengers and a compelling value proposition for fleet operators. With segment-leading comfort, efficiency and connected technology, it is designed to serve India’s diverse and evolving mobility needs—from corporate staff transportation to the growing tourism sector.”
Tata Motors further strengthens its leadership in the commercial passenger mobility space with a comprehensive portfolio ranging from 9-seater vans to 55-seater buses, spanning multiple powertrains. The offering is backed by Sampoorna Seva 2.0, which ensures lifecycle support with annual maintenance contracts, guaranteed service turnaround, genuine spares, and 24×7 roadside assistance.
