Force Motors has introduced the Urbania Deluxe, a significantly upgraded version of its next-generation shared mobility platform, with prices starting at ₹28.7 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model replaces the current Urbania and becomes the company’s standard offering in the premium shared mobility segment.
The Urbania was India’s first fully ground-up modular monocoque van platform, creating a new benchmark in premium shared passenger mobility and establishing a distinct segment in both domestic and international markets. The Deluxe variant builds on that foundation with a stronger focus on passenger comfort, performance and technology.
Power comes from a Mercedes-derived 2.6-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 134 hp and 350 Nm, offering improved acceleration, drivability and effortless cruising.
The cabin receives a comprehensive upgrade with leatherette seats, matching upholstery, wood-finish flooring, and a refined interior theme aimed at elevating the travel experience for both fleet operators and passengers.
Safety remains a key highlight, with 3-point seat belts for every passenger, driver and co-driver airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ESP, ABS, EBD and Engine Drag Torque Control (ETDC).
Technology upgrades include a TFT instrument cluster and a 9-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, online and offline navigation, HD reverse camera, voice alerts and Bluetooth calling.
Additional premium touches include 16-inch alloy wheels, a power-operated sliding footstep, an 8-speaker Digital Theatre System, and illuminated USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports across all seating rows.
Force Motors is backing the Urbania Deluxe with its Force Care package, comprising i-Pulse telematics, a 5-year/5 lakh km warranty, a 3-year sensor warranty, and 3 years of roadside assistance.
The Urbania Deluxe will be offered in three wheelbase options and eight seating configurations, ranging from 9+D to 16+D, through Force Motors dealerships across India.
