Bajaj Auto has expanded its electric mobility portfolio with the launch of the all-new Bajaj WEGO range of electric three-wheelers in India. With multiple passenger and cargo variants, the company aims to strengthen its leadership in the fast-growing EV three-wheeler segment.
Built on a new-generation platform, the Bajaj WEGO range features an efficient electric drivetrain paired with a 2-speed automatic transmission, regenerative braking, and an advanced battery management system. These technologies are designed to deliver best-in-class range, reduce range anxiety, and improve long-term ownership value.
The lineup comes equipped with modern features such as Bluetooth connectivity, a digital LCD instrument cluster, hill hold assist, climb mode, and improved gradability. Bajaj has also enhanced passenger comfort with increased cabin space, better legroom, and ergonomic driver access. The range is backed by a 5-year warranty, roadside assistance, and the brand’s extensive network of over 1,500 sales and service touchpoints.
In the passenger segment, the WEGO 50 Series (P5009, P5012) offers an ARAI-certified range of up to 272 km, while the larger 70 Series (P7009, P7012) delivers up to 259 km. The flagship 90 Series (P9018), designed for higher capacity and longer routes, offers a claimed range of up to 296 km.
For cargo applications, Bajaj has introduced the C9009 and C9012 variants, aimed at efficient last-mile delivery with a range of up to 207 km.
According to Samardeep Subandh, President – Intra-City Business, Bajaj Auto, the WEGO range has been developed to cater to diverse use cases, from high-frequency urban commuting to long-distance shared mobility and goods transport.
