Ashok Leyland has strengthened its leadership in the commercial vehicle segment with the launch of India’s first range of air-suspension trucks, introducing three new AVTR models designed to improve payload capacity, ride comfort, and fleet profitability.
The new lineup includes the AVTR 4925 10×2 MAV (49T), AVTR 4625 10×2 MAV (46T) and AVTR 4525 8×2 MAV (45T). According to the company, the new trucks offer a payload advantage of up to 4 tonnes, enabling higher earning potential while maintaining a competitive total cost of ownership.
Air Suspension Brings Higher Productivity
The new air suspension system improves vehicle stability, reduces vibrations, and enhances ride comfort, especially when carrying heavy loads on uneven roads.
Ashok Leyland says the maintenance-free rear air suspension eliminates the need for greasing while also contributing to improved tyre life, reducing long-term operating costs for fleet operators.
Built for Modern Fleet Operations
The new AVTR range is available in both cowl and cabin configurations, with multiple loading span options to suit different commercial applications.
Standard equipment includes iVAC (Intelligent Vehicle Acceleration Control) and ATC (Automatic Traction Control), technologies aimed at improving fuel efficiency, traction and overall vehicle performance across varying road conditions.
