Tata Motors has launched the all-new Next Gen Tiago and Tiago.ev in India, significantly updating its popular hatchback lineup with refreshed styling, premium interiors, advanced technology and enhanced safety features. Prices for the ICE-powered Tiago start at Rs 4.69 lakh, while the Tiago.ev starts at Rs 6.99 lakh (full ownership).
Built on over a decade of market presence and trusted by more than 7 lakh customers, the Next Gen Tiago range is available with Petrol, iCNG and Electric powertrain options, offering buyers multiple ownership choices under a common design philosophy.
Sharper Styling and New Design Language
The new Tiago range adopts a more modern and expressive design language with updated proportions, stronger road presence and fresh styling elements.

- Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership model
Under the BaaS scheme, the Tiago.ev can be purchased at a starting price of Rs 4.69 lakh plus battery subscription costs of Rs 2.6 per km.
According to Tata Motors, the lower running costs of the Tiago.ev can help customers recover ownership costs within four to five years, especially with home solar charging setups.

BaaS Details
The Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model is offered as a dual-loan finance product, subject to financier approval and terms & conditions. The displayed starting price applies to the Smart 19 kWh variant, assuming average usage of 44 km per day, excluding charging costs. The scheme is available only for personal buyers and excludes road tax, insurance, TCS and other government levies.
Tata Motors is also offering assured buyback options through an insurance partner, with values ranging from 40% after five years to 60% after three years, available as a paid option under the BaaS scheme.
