Renault India has marked a major milestone with the launch of the Kwid 10th Anniversary Limited Edition, commemorating ten years of the hatchback that redefined India’s entry-level car market. Alongside the celebratory edition, Renault has refreshed the Kwid lineup with enhanced safety, a new variant nomenclature, and stylish updates.
Limited Edition: Exclusive and Collectible
Limited to 500 units, the 10th Anniversary Edition is based on the Techno variant and priced at ₹5.14 lakh (MT) and ₹5.63 lakh (AMT), ex-showroom pan-India. It debuts in two dual-tone colours – Fiery Red with Black Roof and Shadow Grey with Black Roof – complemented by black Flex Wheels, distinctive decals, and a yellow grille insert. This makes the Kwid India’s most affordable dual-tone car.
Inside, the celebratory edition carries forward the festive theme with yellow-accented upholstery, a leatherette steering wheel with contrast stitching, and illuminated scuff plates. Puddle lamps and premium detailing add a sense of exclusivity.
Safety Upgrades Across the Range
Renault has rolled out 3-point seatbelts for all seats across the Kwid lineup, further strengthening passenger safety. The Climber variant now gets six airbags, setting a new benchmark in its class.

Pricing and Positioning
The Kwid now starts at ₹4.29 lakh ex-showroom, while the AMT variant begins at ₹4.99 lakh, making it one of India’s most accessible automatic hatchbacks. The updated range continues to feature the proven 1.0L SCe engine, available with both manual and AMT options, paired with SUV-inspired styling and a high ground clearance of 184 mm.
