Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India’s leading SUV manufacturer, has raised the bar for in-cabin entertainment by introducing Dolby Atmos on the newly launched XUV 3XO REVX A. This makes it the world’s first SUV under ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom) to feature the premium audio technology, in collaboration with Dolby Laboratories, Inc.
Immersive Sound, Now More Accessible
Originally developed for cinemas, Dolby Atmos delivers a multi-dimensional audio experience, revealing richer details, clarity, and depth. For car occupants, it transforms the cabin into a personalized concert hall, making every drive—be it daily commutes or long road trips—more engaging and emotional.
The XUV 3XO REVX A leads this democratization of premium sound, followed by AX5L, AX7, and AX7L variants. The system features a six-speaker setup, tuned for the 3XO’s cabin architecture. The top-spec AX7L adds a dedicated subwoofer, creating a more cinematic soundscape with deeper bass and enhanced clarity.

Availability
All four Dolby Atmos-equipped variants of the XUV 3XO will be available from mid-September 2025. Dolby Atmos music streaming will also be accessible via Gaana, integrated directly into the infotainment system.
With this move, the XUV 3XO becomes Mahindra’s fourth SUV line-up to feature Dolby Atmos, after the BE 6, XEV 9e Electric Origin SUVs, and Thar ROXX, further strengthening the brand’s commitment to democratizing premium in-car experiences.
