Yamaha Launches XSR155, AEROX-E, EC-06 & FZ-RAVE in India – Expands into Electric Mobility

India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has taken a major step forward in India’s two-wheeler market with the launch of the Yamaha XSR155, the brand’s first electric scooters AEROX-E and EC-06, and the new FZ-RAVE. The triple launch strengthens Yamaha’s position in the premium motorcycle segment while marking its official entry into India’s fast-growing EV space.

Yamaha XSR155 Price in India, Features & Specs

The much-anticipated Yamaha XSR155 has finally made its India debut, bringing the brand’s globally loved Modern Retro Sport design to Indian roads.

Built on the Deltabox frame, the XSR155 gets upside-down forks, monocross suspension, and 17-inch alloy wheels for agile handling. The bike’s classic round LED headlamp, teardrop tank, and minimalist LCD reflect its timeless retro appeal. Yamaha offers the XSR155 in four colour options and two accessory kits — Scrambler and Café Racer — letting riders personalise their style.

Yamaha AEROX-E: High-Performance Electric Scooter for India

The AEROX-E marks Yamaha’s entry into the premium electric scooter category. Inspired by the popular Aerox 155, this EV brings Yamaha’s Maxi Sports DNA into the electric era.

The AEROX-E combines sporty styling, instant torque, and smart connectivity for riders seeking an electric scooter that doesn’t compromise on performance or design.

Yamaha EC-06: Smart Urban Electric Scooter

Targeted at modern commuters, the Yamaha EC-06 focuses on comfort, practicality, and sustainability.

Developed in India with a global outlook, the EC-06 blends Yamaha’s premium feel with eco-friendly performance, ideal for city and suburban commutes.

Yamaha FZ-RAVE: Street-Ready Power for Young Riders

Expanding the iconic FZ line, Yamaha introduced the FZ-RAVE, built for India’s youth who crave style and everyday performance.

Available in Matte Titan and Metallic Black, the FZ-RAVE continues the legacy of over 2.75 million FZs sold in India — combining sporty design, efficiency, and reliability.
