TVS Motor Company and PETRONAS Lubricants International Strengthen Partnership to Elevate Indian Motorsport Excellence
- PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) extends its title sponsorship of TVS Racing for three more years, reaffirming its commitment to Indian motorsports.

Bengaluru, March 13, 2025 – TVS Motor Company (TVSM), a global leader in the two and three-wheeler segment, has further reinforced its partnership with PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) to advance India’s motorsport landscape. As part of this extended collaboration, PLI will continue as the title sponsor of TVS Racing, India’s first factory racing team, for another three years. This renewed alliance will support TVS Racing’s participation in premier racing events, including the Indian National Supercross Championship (INSC), Indian National Rally Championship (INRC), and Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC).
Since 2022, PETRONAS has been a key sponsor of TVS Racing, complementing its four-decade legacy in Indian motorsports. As part of this partnership, PLI will remain the official supplier of aftermarket lubricants to TVSM’s extensive dealership network. The PETRONAS TVS TRU4 range, featuring high-performance semi and full synthetic oils, will continue to optimize engine efficiency and durability for TVS motorcycles. This collaboration further strengthens PLI’s presence in India’s competitive two-wheeler market while aligning with TVS Racing’s commitment to innovation and motorsport excellence.
TVS Racing continues to dominate both national and international motorsport events. Aishwarya Pissay extended her winning streak at the Bajas Championship, while the TVS Asia One Make Championship (OMC) successfully concluded its third season with 15 racers from nine countries. On the domestic front, TVS Racing secured the Teams & Manufacturer titles in INMRC Pro Stock (165cc & 301-400cc), multiple championships across INRC categories, and strong podium finishes at the INSC. The 14th season of the TVS Indian OMC also concluded successfully, featuring 50 of India’s top racing talents.
With its “Track to Road” philosophy, TVS Racing continues to integrate race-derived technology into the TVS Apache series, delivering high-performance motorcycles inspired by competitive racing. The PETRONAS TVS Racing Team remains committed to pushing the boundaries of motorsport excellence, setting new benchmarks across various racing disciplines.
