KTM Unleashes the All-New 390 ENDURO R in India – A True Dual-Sport for Every Terrain

Pune, April 11, 2025 – KTM India has officially launched the highly anticipated KTM 390 ENDURO R, marking its bold entry into the hardcore dual-sport segment in the country. Engineered for riders who seek true off-road prowess without compromising street legality, the 390 ENDURO R sets a new benchmark in versatility, durability, and performance.
Priced at ₹3,36,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the KTM 390 ENDURO R is now available across all KTM showrooms nationwide, starting today. An additional variant featuring extended 230 mm suspension travel at both ends is also set to arrive soon, with bookings already open at KTM dealerships.
Real Off-Road Capability, Street Legal DNA
The KTM 390 ENDURO R is purpose-built for riders who crave adventure—whether it’s through city traffic, winding backroads, or deep into rugged, off-road trails. At its core is a new-gen 399cc LC4c single-cylinder engine, derived from the Gen-3 KTM DUKE platform. Lightweight and compact, this BS6-compliant powerplant delivers strong mid-range torque, quick throttle response, and extended service intervals—with the first at 1,000 km and follow-ups every 7,500 km.
Ready to Race: Engineering & Off-Road Design
The motorcycle’s off-road credentials are backed by a host of purposeful upgrades:
-
New 2-piece steel trellis frame with unique geometry and improved rigidity
-
WP open cartridge 43mm front fork (200 mm travel) and off-center WP APEX rear monoshock (205 mm travel) with adjustable rebound, preload, and compression
-
21” front and 18” rear spoked wheels fitted with aggressive knobby tires for unmatched grip
-
Off-road-ready ground clearance and optimized footpeg/rider triangle positioning
-
New bolt-on steel trellis subframe, designed for strength and weight savings
Technology That Inspires Confidence
Setting a new standard in dual-sport technology, the 390 ENDURO R is loaded with intelligent features:
-
New 4.2-inch bonded-glass TFT dashboard with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, and smartphone integration
-
USB-C charging port, redesigned illuminated switchgear with 4-way joystick
-
Dual ride modes: OFF-ROAD and STREET
-
Switchable ABS and optional Quickshifter+
-
Power-Assisted Slipper Clutch for seamless downshifts and better control in rough terrain
OFF-ROAD mode gives riders increased rear-wheel slip, perfect for tackling loose trails and technical climbs. Riders can also fully disable traction control for a more raw, connected riding experience.
Built for Adventure, Styled for Performance
From the sharp in-mold graphics to the compact 9-litre metal tank and off-road-focused bodywork, every aspect of the 390 ENDURO R is built for function and form. A new stainless-steel lightweight exhaust system with double catalytic converters improves emissions and performance, while reducing overall weight by 2 kg.
With enhanced heat management, improved gear shifting, and a sleeker, narrower design for better control when standing on the pegs, this motorcycle is engineered to feel just as comfortable crawling over rocky terrain as it does carving through city traffic.
India’s True Dual-Sport Has Arrived
The launch of the KTM 390 ENDURO R marks a significant milestone in KTM’s journey in India. It opens the door for serious enduro riders, ADV enthusiasts, and urban explorers alike, looking for a machine that doesn’t just look the part—but performs every bit of it.
Whether it’s mountain trails, desert paths, forest routes, or everyday commuting, the KTM 390 ENDURO R is ready to Get Dirty—with power, precision, and purpose.
