
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced that it will fully pass on the benefits of the Government’s next-gen GST 2.0 reforms to customers starting September 22, 2025. The move is expected to make motorcycles and scooters more affordable, particularly in rural and semi-urban markets where two-wheelers are a lifeline for daily mobility and livelihood.
Commenting on the development, Vikram Kasbekar, CEO, Hero MotoCorp, said, “We welcome the Government’s GST 2.0 reforms, which will boost consumption, empower GDP growth, and accelerate India’s journey towards a $5 trillion economy. With over half of Indian households relying on two-wheelers, this initiative comes at the right time ahead of the festive season, making mobility more accessible for millions while driving demand.”
As part of the benefit transfer, customers can save up to ₹15,743 on select models (ex-showroom, Delhi). Popular motorcycles like the Splendor+, Glamour, Passion+, Karizma 210, Xtreme range, and scooters such as the Xoom, Pleasure+, and Destini are included.
