Ducati India Launches the 2025 Multistrada V2: Lighter, Smarter, and More Adventurous

Ducati India has introduced the much-awaited 2025 Multistrada V2, a refined and lighter version of its iconic adventure tourer. With a brand-new chassis, re-engineered Ducati V2 engine, and class-leading electronics, the 2025 Multistrada V2 aims to set new standards in the mid-size adventure touring segment.

The latest Multistrada lineup—comprising the V2 and V2 S—offers a perfect blend of comfort, agility, and performance, making it one of the most versatile twin-cylinder motorcycles in its class. Both models are now E20 fuel compliant, underscoring Ducati’s commitment to sustainability in India.

Performance and Engineering Excellence

Powering the new Multistrada V2 is Ducati’s 890cc 90° V-twin engine with variable valve timing, delivering 115 hp at 10,750 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. Despite its powerful output, the engine contributes to the motorcycle’s impressive 18 kg weight reduction, bringing the kerb weight to 199 kg for the base V2 model.

The re-engineered aluminium monocoque frame, steel trellis subframe, and aluminium swingarm enhance handling and stability, offering riders superior control both on highways and off-road trails.

Sleek Design and Improved Comfort

The 2025 Multistrada V2 carries forward Ducati’s signature Italian design DNA, featuring sportier lines, compact proportions, and a sharper rear profile. The front fascia showcases new LED headlights and DRLs inspired by the Panigale and Multistrada V4.

Improved ergonomics and a lower seat height make the bike easier to handle in urban conditions and at low speeds. The Multistrada V2 S further enhances rider comfort with Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) EVO, offering semi-active damping and a Minimum Preload function that lowers the suspension height with the press of a button—ideal for shorter riders or when carrying a passenger.

Passengers benefit from increased legroom and improved seating geometry, making the V2 a more comfortable long-distance companion.

Advanced Electronics and Safety Package

The new Multistrada V2 comes equipped with a 6-axis IMU-based electronic suite, offering:

Riders can choose between five Riding Modes—Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and Wet—each adapting engine response and safety systems to specific riding conditions.

The Multistrada V2 S adds a 5-inch full-TFT display, Cruise Control, Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0, and Ducati Multimedia System for enhanced connectivity. Additional features like Ducati Brake Light EVO and Coming Home functionality further improve safety and convenience.

Adventure-Ready Customization

Ducati offers a wide range of official accessories, including spoked wheels, aluminium panniers, and crash protection kits, allowing owners to personalise their Multistrada for every kind of adventure. The brand has also introduced a dedicated apparel line, tailored to the bike’s touring DNA.
